Welcome to British Literature!  The objective for this course is to study important texts from the Renaissance to the Postcolonial period.  British authors either embraced their culture or revolted against it, expressing their views through a variety of forms: essays, novels, poetry, satire, and short stories. I hope you see yourselves as sources of knowledge, willing to share your ideas, opinions and questions with the class.  Everyone gains when everyone participates.
