This course is equivalent to a first-year college chemistry course for chem majors.  Course content and practices are governed by the College Board.  According to the College Board, "Students in an AP Chemistry course should spend at least five hours a week in individual study outside of the classroom."

This course examines matter and its interactons.  Our study covers quantitative and qualitative analysis in inorganic chemistry with emphasis on laboraotry investigation. Topics include structure of matter, kinetic theory of matter, states of matter, equilibria, kinetics, and basic concepts of thermodynamics.
